ABOUT

My creative approach is inspired by my four year sojourn in Japan. The serenity I felt experiencing the Japanese concept of “less is more” is what I share through my art.

The wall pieces I create imbue the same qualities of wabi sabi and shibui—stark, quiet, simple, subtle, and imperfect. Each vintage textile fragment carries a story along with a wooden piece of antiquity to remind us to remember the past as we move forward with our lives.

Fiber Arts creates harmony and tranquility—it’s the understated artwork in the room that gives one pause for a moment of reflection.
Being a multi-disciplined artisan, I employ a variety of different techniques and integrate a wide array of materials to complete a project's vision.
I welcome inquiries to create wall art specific to your space.
